Wilton St. Germain Jennings: The family and friends of Wilton St. Germain are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on January 28, 2022, at the age of 87. Wilton was born in Sweet Lake, LA to Felix St. Germain and Anna Babineaux St. Germain on August 5, 1934. Wilton worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator before retiring. He loved being outdoors, especially when he was fishing, hunting, or working in his garden. He also loved to carve wood and cook for family and friends. Wilton’s greatest joys came from the time spent and memories made with his family. Wilton was a kind and generous man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Wilton is survived by his wife, Nita Benoit St. Germain of Jennings, LA; son, Scott Richard (Serenity) of Portales, NM; son-in-law, Ricky Lopez of Jennings, LA; daughters, Charlotte St. Germain (Ray) of Jennings, LA, Diana Hollis of Douglasville, GA, Trina Ewing (Blaine) of Jennings, LA, Tara Hardy (Joel) of Gulfport, MS, Jolaine McCluer (Robert) of Jennings, LA; brother, Gene St. Germain of Baldwin, LA; sisters, Shirley Quebodeaux of Deridder, LA, Gwen Quebodeaux of Ragley, LA; fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren & one great-great grandchild. Wilton was preceded in death by his parents, Felix & Anna St. Germain; his first wife, Bernice St. Germain; daughter, Jody Lopez; brothers, Aldon, Emery, & Clyde St. Germain; son-in-law, Lee Hollis. Funeral services for Wilton St. Germain, 87 of Jennings, LA will be held at the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Jennings, LA on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 3:00 PM with Brother David Harper & Brother Eric Sonnier officiating. Burial will follow in Bertrand Cemetery. Those chosen to honor Wilton as his pallbearers will be Dusty Ewing, Kyle Sonnier, Blaine Ewing, Keno Lopez, Jamie Eason, & Dwayne Landry. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings on Monday, January 31st from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The family request that visitation resume on Tuesday, February 1st at the Cornerstone Baptist Church at 9:00 AM until the time of his funeral service at 3:00 PM.
