Ruby Ann Martin Comeaux Jennings: It”s with a heavy heart that we announce that our mother, grandmother, sister and friend was called to her heavenly home on January 17, 2022, after a short but courageous fight. Ruby was born in Sulphur, LA to Louis Martin, Sr., and Mabel King Martin on October 21, 1937. Ruby was a homemaker, who dedicated her life to caring for her family, which she loved dearly. She also loved the outdoors, tending to her flowers and plants, as well as sewing. Above all Ruby adored her grandchildren and family, and she loved spending time with them and making wonderful memories. Ruby will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Ruby is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren which she loved dearly. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Comeaux, Sr.; her parents, Louis Martin, Sr., & Mabel King Martin; her brothers, Louis Martin, Jr., Alex Martin; her sisters, Amelia Miller, bessie Carpenter, Valma Lee Thibodeaux, Mary Louise Moore; her sons, Denny Comeaux, Mickey Comeaux, Rufus Comeaux, Jr, Glen Ray Comeaux, Ronald Comeaux; her daughters, Shelia Comeaux, Janet Comeaux; her grandson, Garrett Comeaux; her granddaughter, Nikki Comeaux. Funeral Services for Ruby Ann Martin Comeaux, 84 of Jennings, LA will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 7:00 PM. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA beginning on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at 4:00 PM until the time of her Service at 7:00 PM.
