Ruby McLean Broussard Jennings: It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Ruby McLean Broussard announces her passing from this life on April 23, 2020 at the age of 72. Ruby was born in Lake Arthur, LA to Alcee McLean and Vernice Fontenot on July 14, 1946. Ruby worked as a Beautician, she really enjoyed working. Ruby loved cooking, sewing, working on crafts, going to the Rodeo, going to the Bar, and playing Bourrė. Her greatest joys came from spending time with all her family and friends. She was a kind and loving person, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Those left behind to cherish their memories of Ruby are her daughter, Pauline Landry Suire of Hathaway, LA; her three sisters, Jeannita Gaspard of Lake Arthur, LA, Kathleen Broussard of Lake Arthur, LA, Sharon Yancey of Elton, LA; her grandchildren, Jaci Bunch, Emmy Suire, Victor Suire. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, Alcee & Vernice McLean; her daughter, Kimberly Dawn White, her two grandchildren, Daniel White & JR White. A Rosary for Ruby McLean Broussard, 72 of Lake Arthur, LA will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 7:00 PM. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings beginning on Friday, April 24th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
