“Margo” Margo Dunn Gillard Landry Jennings: It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Margaret “Margo” Dunn Gillard Landry announces her passing from this life on August 15, 2019 at the age of 73. Margo was born in Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland to Leroy Joseph Gillard and Caroline Dunn on December 18, 1945. She worked as a Records Keeper. She loved gardening, crafting, and cooking in her spare time. Margo’s greatest joy came from the time she was able to spend with all of her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a kind and loving woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Margo is survived by her husband, Larry Landry, Sr. of Welsh, LA; her three sons, Larry J. Landry, Jr. (Karen) of Ocean Springs, MS, Lance Joseph Landry of Lafayette, LA, Layne Jacy Landry of Lafayette, LA; her two daughters, Heather Landry Bergren (John) of Welsh, LA, Kamala Caroline Iguess (Kevin) of Welsh, LA; her six grandchildren, Ashley, Derrick, Aidan, Megan, Jordan, Shelby; her four great grandchildren, Jay & Jaxson, Charles & Kingston. Margo was preceded in death by her parents Leroy Joseph Gillard and Caroline Dunn Gillard; her grandson, Christian. Memorial Services for Margaret “Margo” Dunn Gillard Landry, 73 of Welsh, LA will be held at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Welsh, LA on Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 1:30 PM. Following her Memorial Service, Margo will be interned in the Pine Island Cemetery located on Pine Island Hwy in Jennings, LA.
