Helen Ann Morgan Gueydan: The family and friends of Helen Ann Morgan are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called from this life on February 27, 2020 at the age of 78. Helen was born in Crowley, LA to Rufus Allen Morgan and Marie Eunice Bienvenue Morgan on August 1, 1941. She loved to read, going shopping, and spending time with her cousin, Lloyd Morgan. Helen had an incredible memory on dates. Helen was a kind and loving person and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Helen is survived by numerous cousins, extended family and friends from the nursing home. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus & Eunice Morgan. Funeral services will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Gueydan on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM with Father Corey Campeaux officiating. Burial will follow in the Gueydan Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Gueydan on Sunday, March 1st from 10:00 AM until the time of her funeral service with a rosary recited at 1:30 PM by Sheryl Portie.
