Ethan Trent Navarre Jennings: It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that our brother, father, and friend, Ethan Trent Navarre passed away peacefully unexpectedly on August 4, 2022. Ethan was born in Jennings, LA on May 3, 1991, to Skeeter Navarre and Susan Kay Marceaux. Ethan worked as a Consultant in the Petroleum Industry and a great provider for his family. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and shooting guns. He also enjoyed driving 18 wheelers and a shooting off fireworks. His greatest joys came from spending time and making memories with all his family and friends. Ethan was a kind and generous man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Ethan is survived by his father Skeeter Navarre of Jennings, LA; his fiancée Hailey Godeaux of Evangeline, LA; his three daughters, Raeleigh Trahan of Lake Charles, LA, McKenzie Miller of Evangeline, LA, Monique Logan of Evangeline, LA; his two brothers, Skeeter Blane Crochet of Atmore, AL, Brian Dale Crochet of Lake Arthur, LA; his sister, JaNaya Navarre of Jennings, LA; his aunt Nancy LeJeune of Lake Arthur, LA; his cousins, Taylor Latiolais, Cheb LeJeune; his close friends that he consider brothers, Ryan Stroder, Louis “T-Lou” Gary, Bryson Gary; as well as numerous other friends and relatives. Ethan was preceded in death by his mother Susan Kay Navarre; his grandmother, Mildred Marceaux; his grandfather, Donald “Moose” Marceaux. A Celebration of Ethan ‘s life will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 2:00 PM with Reverend Aaron Kinney officiating. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA beginning on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 9:00 AM and continue until the time of his Service at 2:00 PM.
