Donald Joseph LaBouve Jennings: It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that Donald Joseph LaBouve passed away peacefully at home with the love of family and friends surrounding him on April 7, 2022. Donald was born in Lake Charles, LA on August 9, 1962, to Wilford LaBouve and Velma Deshotel LaBouve. Donald worked as a mechanic and a great provider for his family; he was also a talented jack of all trades and could fix anything. He was an avid outdoorsman with great sense of humor, and loved fishing, crabbing, and spending time with his family and friends. Donald was a kind and generous man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Donald is survived by the love of his life & companion for over 32 years, Linda Carlisle of Jennings, LA; his children, Maxx Carlisle of Jennings, LA, Lilla LeJeune (Chris) of Jennings, LA, Martin Carlisle of Jennings, LA; his grandchildren, Lexin Vincent, Kadin Vincent, & Alyssa Vincent, & one great grandson, Eli Vincent all of Jennings, LA; his brothers, Matt LaBouve (Julie) of Jennings, LA, Kim LaBouve of Jennings, LA, David LaBouve (Elaine), Daniel LaBouve, Craig LaBouve (Sally) & Ronald LaBouve; his sisters, Mary Doucet (Wallace), Kathleen Roy (Larry); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.. Donald was preceded in death by his father, Wilford LaBouve; his mother, Velma Deshotel LaBouve; his sister, Sandra Blanchard (Norman); his brother, Charles Miller. A Celebration of Donald ‘s life will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 4:00 PM. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA beginning on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 12:00 PM until the time of his Service at 4:00 PM. The family of Mr. LaBouve is honoring his wishes of Cremation following his Services.
