Winston Guillory Jennings: It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Winston Guillory, 63 of Jennings, LA announces his passing from this life on August 4, 2020. Winston was born in Mamou, LA to Claude Guillory and Juanita Fontenot Guillory on May 12, 1957. Winston worked as a police officer for over Thirty Years, he worked for JPD from 1987 till 2015, LAPD from 2016-2017, Coushatta Tribal Police from 2017 till 2019, and JDPSO from 2019 till current. He loved all his brothers and sisters in blue and his church family. In his spare time Winston loved making Duck Calls and doing leather work. Most of all Winston loved spending time and making memories with his family, his wife, his children, and his grandchildren. Winston was a kind and loving man who, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Those left behind to cherish Winston’s memories are his wife, Sandra M. Guillory of Jennings, LA; his son, Claude Guillory (Melanie) of Elton, LA; his daughter, Faith Guillory of Jennings, LA; his seven grandchildren, Hunter, Brennen, Baylee, Andersen, Addisen, Alixandre, Lillian; his great grandson to be Hudson Winston Bertrand; his brother, Darren Guillory (Renee) of Dry Creek, LA; his three sisters, Janise McGee (Danny) of Dry Creek, LA, Phyllis LaFleur of Basile, LA, Connie Sonnier (John) of Jennings, LA. Winston was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Juanita Guillory. Funeral Services for Winston Guillory of Jennings, LA will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Friday, |August 7, 2020 at 3:00 PM. Winston will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery following his Service. Those chosen to honor him as his pallbearers will be Hunter Bertrand, Brennen Bertrand, Ike LaFleur, Keagan Sonnier, Eric Stroderd, and Zach Sonnier. Honorary Pallbearer will be Andersen Oustalet. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Matthews and Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Thursday, August 6th from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will resume on Friday, August 7th at 9:00 AM until the time of his Funeral Service.
