"Ace" Adras John Guidry

“Ace” Adras John Guidry Jennings: It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that our father, brother, and friend, Adras John Guidry passed away on February 12, 2022. Adras was born in Eunice, LA on November 13, 1953, to Theo Guidry Sr., and Rena Harrington. Adras was a mechanic for most of his life until he retired. He loved being around family and friends; he never met a stranger and loved listening to Cajun Music. His favorite saying was “I’m the nicest mother****er around but I’m an Asshole alright.” Adras was a kind and generous man who was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Adras is survived by his eight children, Adras “John” Guidry, III (Emmalena), Tammie (Bobby) Guidry, Anthony (Anna) Guidry, Shaunda (Kenneth) Levi, Danny (Felicia) Guidry, Tristen (Marissah) Guidry, Theo Guidry, Jazmine Guidry (Randon Levi); his two siblings, Gloria (Pete) Villegas, Theo (Natalie) Guidry; his godson, Keith Deshotel; his twenty-nine grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews & friends. Adras was preceded in death by his parents, Rena Harrington & Theo Guidry, Sr.; his son, Marion Luke Guidry; his siblings, Clara Guidry, Marion Guidry. A Celebration of Adras ‘s life will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 3:00 PM with Theo Guidry & Peter Villegas officiating. Burial will follow in St. Anthony Cemetery. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA beginning on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 10:00 AM until the time of his Service at 3:00 PM.
